Turn a deck into a real book in a spectator’s hands, and leads you back to the card they signed.
If you enjoy magic such as Omni Deck or Phantom Deck, you’ll recognize the premise: the spectator holds the deck, and the surprise happens in their hands. In routines like these, revealing a “wrong card” often serves to remove the cover and complete the deck switch. Final Chapter gives that apparent mistake a part in the reveal. The joke becomes a clue to what the spectator is holding.

A spectator freely selects a card, signs it, and returns it to the deck. You place the deck in their hands and ask them to cover it with their other hand. You pull out a card and confidently announce, “This is your card.” Written across its face are the words IT’S YOUR CARD. As the laughter begins, the card transforms into a bookmark with a new message: THE ANSWER LIES WITHIN THE BOOK. The spectator opens their hands. The deck is now a real book. You riffle through its blank pages. The outline of a playing card gradually appears, frame by frame, until a real card emerges: the exact card the spectator signed moments earlier. One final riffle makes every image disappear. The pages are blank again. The signed card remains.
• The miracle happens in the spectator's own hands. The spectator discovers the book beneath their own covering hand. • A finale that keeps escalating. Each reveal leads to the next. The “wrong card” becomes a bookmark, the bookmark points to the book, and the book’s pages bring the signed card into view. Laughter gives way to surprise, then to an impossible-looking card reveal. The final return to blank pages closes the sequence. • It connects naturally to the card magic you already perform. Final Chapter can follow Ambitious Card, Triumph, an improvised card-location effect, or virtually any routine built around a signed selection. It gives the card magic you already perform a distinctive ending.
